Working with the University of Glasgow

Best Scientific Couplers ltd recently did some work with the University of Glasgow to assist them with placing their Canon Digital SLR camera on a variety of microscopes within their labs.

Best Scientific Couplers ltd actually offer the perfect solution with our 1.6x Standard Coupler product along with the Large Format Adapter systems.

We can accommodate most makes of Digital SLR cameras going onto most makes and models of microscopes.

The university wanted to use one adapter system for the camera that would allow them to use this one camera on multiple microscopes. So that is exactly what we provided them with.

The adapters we supply are interchangeable and this of course makes for an excellent cost effective imaging solution. If you have three microscopes which are all different, each microscope can have its own bottom assembly which can remain in place on the microscope. You can swap your 1.6x standard adapter with Eos-Mount for Canon for example between the three microscopes.
