Multi Port Innovation for 2023

Best Scientific Couplers Ltd is pleased to announce an exciting and varied addition to the Multi Port camera coupler range. This addition will finally allow the non-mainstream microscope brands to have the option of multiple cameras providing they have a trino head.  

An all-new 50/50 Prism Box which is black anodise to avoid refection and has been made specifically to enable the interfacing of two cameras via Standard C-Mount adapters. This allows the flexibility to interface to absolutely any make and model of microscope. Providing is has a c-mount facility or trinocular head. The preferred c-mount would be no glass 1X to take our prism 50/50. This prism provides two erect images.

This system uses our Standard Coupler range that and has the ability to take a graticule insert and or a filter insert if so required, the graticule or filter size is 21mm for all our SC couplers. The SC system is also able to offer you a variety of magnifications 0.38X, 0.5X, 0.67, 1.0x, 1.6X and 2.0X. You could even have different magnifications horizontally and vertically. Especially with the new scientific low light cameras that now have very large camera chips. We can accommodate this aspect with our range of SC couplers.

This has also been tested and proven to accommodate a laser input, in conjunction with a CCD camera and or a Digital SLR Camera.

For those who only have the one microscope but carry out other scientific studies on the one microscope this prism is ideal for measurements on one camera and or analytical data on the other camera. Or alternative photometric data.
